The Asian Leopard Cat is the direct ancestor responsible for many of the lovely and exotic characteristics of the domesticated Bengal Cat that we know today.

Bengals are Athletic,
bright and ultra intelligent and make wonderful loyal pets for
anyone from children to elderly. They do not require any special
permits and require no special vet visits other than normal
visits that any domestic cat would need.
Bengals eat a regular diet of dry domestic
cat food and wet canned foods. They do not require any special
food yet they do well and it is recommended that you keep them
on one of the many premium dry foods higher in protein.
The adult Bengal Cat is the
same size as a an adult domestic cat yet they tend to be longer and leaner.
It is recomended that your Bengal cat be in an indoor cat
predominately unless attended by an adult. With normal care and attention a Bengal will
can live anywhere from 10 to 20 years old.
